Complete Onboarding Guide: Connecting SourceLess Wallet to STR.Domains
This step-by-step tutorial guides you through creating your SourceLess Wallet, securing your account credentials, and successfully associating your wallet with the STR.Domains.
Phase 1: SourceLess Wallet Setup & Security
Step 1: Installation & Initial Launch
Download, install, and open the official SourceLess Wallet application on your device.
Step 2: Create a New Wallet
Select the option to Create a New Wallet to initiate the key generation process.
Step 3: Set a Master Password
Create a strong, unique master password.
⚠️ Security Note: Save this password immediately in a secure location (e.g., an encrypted password manager or offline physical storage).
Step 4: Backup Your Seed Phrase
View your randomly generated recovery seed phrase.
⚠️ Critical Requirement: Write down and back up the seed phrase in a strictly offline, secure environment. Never share your seed phrase with anyone.
Step 5: Confirm Seed Phrase Verification
Confirm your seed phrase by entering the requested random words in the exact sequence specified by the app to verify your backup.
Phase 2: STR.Domains Registration & Wallet Association
Step 6: Create an Account on STR.Domains
Navigate to str.domains and proceed to create a new user account.
Step 7: Secure Account Credentials
Save your STR.Domains username and password in a secure location alongside your wallet backup details.
Step 8: Initiate Wallet Association
After registration, click the "Associate Wallet" button.
Select the "WalletConnect QR Code" connection option. (Note: The "Associate Wallet" prompt appears automatically after registration, as private key / public address auto-generation has been removed in favor of direct wallet linking).
Step 9: Scan the QR Code
Open your SourceLess Wallet app on your mobile device and scan the displayed WalletConnect QR Code.
Step 10: Confirmation
Approve the connection request in your wallet. Your SourceLess Wallet address is now successfully linked to your STR.Domains account!
